Not all slaves wear silks, some go
around naked, some wear leathers as that is what their Owners prefer, but generally they are clothed in some sort of slave attire .
These are slaves, female and male respectively. There are many types of slaves to be found, however, the the most common in the tavern is the common kajira, a multipurpose personal slave, and the female tavern slave. These slaves are referred to as kettle and mat slaves. In other word,
they do everything from serve as scullery, to cooking, serving, and warm Master's furs at night. Pleasure slaves are often referred to intalks, but actually are not that common. Just because a slave is used for pleasure,that does not qualify her as a pleasure slave. However. the term is in
common use now, as any female slave are given the basic instruction in how to serve as a sexual slave.

*PASSION Slave:*:... A girl, not trained, but Bred specifically for sex, rather than captured; specifically, one that has been bred for a particular trait, such as beauty or slave heat or the shape of her lips. No Earth girl is EVER a passion slave. It inconceivable and impossible. No passion slave is ever taken to Earth either. Passion slaves are almost never freed. Passion slaves breed true, and their children are marked with the mark of the house that bred them. In this way they are easily identified.. Male passion slaves are harder to identify, except that they are uncommonly beautiful and almost always have a club foot (inherited from the mother).

SILKS:

There are 5 different colors of silks
mentioned here. The exact color of
the silks may vary from slave to slave
depending on the likes and dislikes of
each Owner. The colors mentioned here are more for description of the type of slave than actual color of their silks.
There is much talk, especially in irc Gor, about 'slave silks', as if they are a specific garment. They are not. Slave silks are any silken garmenture that the kajir is permitted to wear, at the Master or Mistress' discretion. The colour coding of slave silks means different things in different places.

In the Books:

White - The white silk slave is not necessarily virgin, merely reserved forher Master or Mistress's sole use. They are generally permitted to serve drinks and food and conversation but sexual use is forbidden and corporal punishment is at the hands of the owners. Masters and Mistress's insulted, may embarrass, confine or display the slave, but may not strike in any way nor permit another to do so. They do not use the term "slave heat" except in serves to their Owners. There is some controversy in using this term as many Goreans feel only a "true virgin" should be white silk, this view varies depending on the
region of Gor.

Red - the mark of a pleasure slave...may generally be used by any who desire her usage but may be reserved for the sole use of the owner. A pleasure slave is considered to be well trained to please in all ways sexual, service wise and in dancing, and are closest to the houris of the Arabian harem. True "passion slaves" are bred for that purpose specifically, one that has been bred for a particular trait, such as beauty or slave heat or the shape of her lips and no barbarian can attain that rank. They usually have a club foot from inbreeding etc.

Yellow - Denotes the Tavern owned slave..her use is rented and negotiated with the Tavern owner and may include sexual favors at the owners discretion. These girls are the Paga girls of the Gorean novels.

It is important to understand that these colours could just as easily apply to a camisk, or classical livery, or a slave gown, as anything else. The garb will vary, as will the colour of the garb. And, if a girl wears a specific Owner's collar, the garb is most likely simply a matter of the Owner's choice. Never assume that just because a girl is red-silk, she has permission to cybersex with anyone and everyone.
